ABOUTWith two decades of experience in public and private sector legal and advisory roles, I've handled investigations, federal monitorships, business disputes and transactions, affirmative litigation and criminal defense matters for various clients. As an entrepreneur, litigator, advisor and strategic planner, holding a degree from Albany Law School, my practice is focused on the legal issues as well as the bigger picture for my clients. I'm admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the Eastern and Southern Districts in New York. My career began in public service at the New York City Office of the Corporation Counsel, where I represented New York City and its employees in state and federal court. Achieving the role of Senior Counsel, I managed a team of attorneys, gaining valuable management and leadership experience. Continuing in public service, I was the Chief of Staff to a Deputy Commissioner, overseeing over 700 employees. I later joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration, managed a $1B capital construction portfolio, and finally completed my public service supervising a multi-agency investigative task force for the Mayor’s Office. After 10 years of public service, I transitioned to the private sector. I provided legal and advisory support in white-collar investigations, large-scale oversight and monitoring cases, and compliance program development, working with small family-run businesses and large international corporations. My experience encompasses corporate governance, contract negotiations, business formation, employment matters, asset sale and acquisition, regulatory compliance and business disputes, investigations and criminal defense. While I am invested in my clients' successes, I also like to contribute to my own. When I’m not working on client matters, you may find me working with my partner on growing her technology start-up, exploring remote locations around the world, or traversing down a mountain on a snowboard.
